Now performing at Beulah Baptist, Bexhill – Christian Voices are enjoying performing Lost and Found.
The play opens with David and Mark, two brothers who work on their fathers farm, discussing David’s wish to travel – experience the world.
They are joined by their father and as the discussion progresses, father decides to give each brother the inheritance that they are due.
Although Mark decides to keep his money safe, David elects to continue with his plan to ‘have an adventure‘.
With all the warnings we all know how difficult the ‘prodigal son‘ finds it -dealing with temptation, being imprudent and eventually a facing his own reluctance to face up to his mistakes.
Through his experiences perhaps we can get an idea of our own personal failings, not forgetting the final redemptive message of the story.
