No, honest, that’s just the title of our latest play!

We are pleased to announce that Christian Voices will be performing our next play, “Anger in Nazareth” in September 2023. The play is written by Alan Young, the songs composed by Dave Chamberlin and is directed by Nick Cearns.

The play is based on the story from the New Testament and tells when Jesus returned to his hometown of Nazareth. He goes to the Synagogue and reads from the Scriptures. But how would the people react when He tells them he has been anointed by God?

Nick said, “In the Play, we are also introduced to the people living in Nazareth at that time and become aware of their problems, personal tragedies and spiritual yearnings”.

We will be hoping to raise money for The Parchment Trust, (Charity number: 1081148), who are based in Hastings, and provide help and services to improve and enrich the lives of people with mental, physical and learning disabilities. No admission is charged but donations can be made at the end of each performance.
So far with their Plays, the Group have raised over £9,000 for good causes and local charities.
