Christian Voices’ are back and in May 2022 performed Esther.
The play is based on the story from the Old Testament and tells how Esther risked her own life to save the life of all the Jews.
In 2022 the play was performed five times by Christian Voices. The play was written by Alan Young, the songs composed by Dave Chamberlin and directed by Jac Young.
The play is based on the the book “Esther“, where a powerful man intends to destroy all the Jews because of a slight by a few to his position and honour.

- Saturday, 21st May – St Stephen’s Church, Bexhill – 5.00 p.m.
- Sunday, 22nd May – St Peter’s Community Centre, Bexhill – 10.00 a.m.
- Friday, 27th May – St Mark’s Church Hall, Bexhill – 7.30 p.m.
- Saturday, 28th May – All Saints Church, Sidley – 3.00 p.m.
- Sunday, 29th May – Christchurch Methodist Church, Bexhill – 10.30 a.m.
All donations given at the end of each performance were given in aid of Bexhill Dementia Action Alliance.
